Ben Clowes (Minister)

I'm Ben and I've been minister here in Pannal since 2017. I'm a proud Mancunian but have fallen in love with Yorkshire too. I'm passionate about sharing the good news and encouraging everyone to find what God is calling them to do in the Kingdom of God. I'm a keen road cyclist and map collector - don't ask my wife how many I've got! My wife, Catherine, is a Local Pastor in the Ripon and Lower Dales circuit and my two boys are all grown up. I feel closest to God strangely on my bike, not because of the traffic but because I have to concentrate and can allow myself to truly connect with Him. I am a published author of Bible Studies and found a love for writing them on my last Sabbatical. 

Clair Webster (Local Lay Pastor)

Hi, I'm Clair and I have been a Local Lay Pastor with Pannal Methodist Church since August 2019. I am also an accredited Local Preacher within the Nidd Valley Circuit and I live in Knaresborough with my husband and our two Children. I love my role within Pannal Methodist Church through the pastoral care, preaching and supporting the Church as they start to embrace through the work Christ is leading them after the pandemic. I enjoy History and spending time in Nature where I feel close to God.
